We are also accepting new students in our Advanced, ages 13yrs old & up, classes. Pre-registration is not required in this program, walk-ins are welcome.
Enter into the secrets of LIONHEART Kenpo Jeet Kune Do. The system is based on Chinese/Okinawan Kenpo fused with Jeet Kune Do having adaptations to threats that face society today for Preemptive Personal Protection in the Adult Class) (In the Kids programs, they will learn structure, discipline, fitness, self-defense, and having fun doing it!)
The Group Senior Head Instructor is Bill Conley, a 9th Degree Black Belt with 47 years of martial arts experience, with 41 years of teaching in martial arts. Hanshi Conley also has 12 years of law enforcement experience as a uniformed police officer in Maine, USA. Served with the Pleasant Point Police Dept, Perry, Maine and the Calais Police Dept, Calais, Maine. He has also taught defensive tactics and self-defense programs to law enforcement, security companies, and agencies. Bill Conley grew up in Charlotte County and has taught martial arts in Charlotte County for decades. He and his wife Kelly have a retail store, My Space Giftshop, in St Andrews, NB. Hanshi Conley throughout his years of training, has studied with some pioneer names in the martial arts including James DeMile, who was one of the Late Bruce Lee’s first students in Seattle Washington from 1959 to 1964. Hanshi Conley is presently the Canada Director for Hanshisei/Senior Master Tony Cogliandro and his organization, American Karate International. SM Cogliandro is a direct first-generation student and confidant to the Late Senior Grand Master Ed Parker. SGM Parker is not only known for his immense martial arts background, but also for his national tournaments in the U.S., his choreography work in Hollywood for movies, teacher and bodyguard to the stars including Elvis Presley & Billy Idol, and Mr Parker is also known for introducing the world to Bruce Lee in 1964 at his Palm Springs, California invitational tournament.

Karate By The Sea: Kiddos/students, ages 8-12yrs old, learn Kenpo Karate with Jeet Kune Do concepts & applications, Self-Defense, and Ground Defense. Our students also attend sanctioned tournaments too!
LIONHEART Kenpo JKD: Advanced class, 13yrs & up, Students learn Kenpo Karate, Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee’s methodology), Modern Weapons Defense, and Ground Defense. This program is the ONLY program in this area that teaches self-defense on your feet, on the ground, or against modern weapons> handguns, long guns, knives, baseball bats, machetes, hammers, hatchets, etc!
We have 400 sq ft of professional FUJI mma mats.
Our systems are resourced from: Red Dragon Shorin Kenpo Karate, Jeet Kune Do, Japanese & Brazillian Jujitsu. Along with Bill Conley’s 47 yrs of martial arts experience and continued practice, 12yrs of law enforcement background in Maine, USA, functioning as a uniformed police officer, and earlier years being involved and operating within the security field.
